You did this so well. It’s personal and universal, as well as hopeful in the midst of hopelessness. I’m moved, and beyond grateful to have such a skilled ally in this fight for our lives that we’ve all been unwillingly conscripted into.
I just started reading The Hobbit. I ordered the full set of Lord of the Rings books which I have never read/watched (the movies) before. One day soon this:
"It’s like Frodo who didn’t want the ring but there it was, gleaming of Mordor."
Thank you Johnny for bringing so much goodness and food for thought to my inbox (via thevsstudio.blog) and for your encouragement for all these years : )
I think it is Gregory Bateson in one of his metalogues who said that crisis to make sense have to be quick, if they are slow we get used to them, I think the same might apply to emergencies, the ones that bring up something submerged, maybe not so much, or maybe yes, but definitely the ones discombobulating the acquired order… love the connections in the post Jennifer, the web, the mycelia.

I am delighted to be called your skilled ally : ) So happy to see you here and to know we are walking the same road.

will make sense to me!

I think you will love Sam Gamgee as much as I do ; ) Enjoy!!
Phenomenal post Jennifer. Such an elegant way to reveal all vulnerable, complicated and paradoxical feelings. Thank you for this and all you do.
